Description
Great reproduction of the early war infantry coat, representing a variation of the standard fullytaped coat, with no tape on the chest or cuffs. Worn for a couple of parades but otherwise in
great condition. Heavy wool. Plain pewter buttons. Body is lined with cotton duck, but no
sleeve lining. A mixture of hand and machine sewing. Some of the tape is discolored and needs
cleaning. No pockets (pocket flaps sewn down). Measurements include approximately 33
inches from top of collar to bottom of tails, approximately 37 inches from center of back (back
seam) to bottom of cuff with arm bent, and approximately 43 inches around chest when
buttoned. Thanks for looking.
