Hussar horse's Shabrack - WALTRAPP, part of Officer's Uniform of Leib Guards regiment of the reign of Alexander I.
The decoration of the battle horse was quite resemble the decoration of the owner, and the officers of the hussar regiments did not spare funds for it. Often galunas and cannetilles made of natural gilded silver were used.
The waltrap is sheathed around the cant with a wide zigzag hussar golden galun.
The monogram of Emperor Alexander I was sewn in the "triumphal" armature during the manufacture of the replica. It's great for cinema, theater, military or historical reconstruction, and for the museum exhibition dedicated to the war of 1812.

Вальтрап (чепрак) для лошади офицера гвардейских гусар периода правления Александра I. Учитывая общую яркость гусарской униформы, легко представить, что убор боевого коня вполне соответствовал убранству владельца, и офицеры гусарских полков не жалели на него средств. Зачастую использовались галуны и канитель из натурального позолоченного серебра, подобные элементы стоили немалых денег.
Шитье нашивалось в передней и задней части гусарского вальтрапа, вензель Императора Александра в "триумфальной" арматуре при изготовлении реплики выполнен различными видами канители и шелка. По канту вальтрап обшит широким зигзагообразным гусарским золотым галуном.
Копия очень высокого качества, пригодная для использования в киносъемках и военно-исторической реконструкции, а также для музейной экспозиции.
