    Description

This is an amazing historic resource and an invaluable reference tool for the gunsmith, re-enactor, cowboy action shooter or blackpowder enthusiast! This auction is for two pages of LARGE format 24 x 36 fully dimensioned drawings of the legendary Walker Colt percussion revolver. Designed by Samuel Colt in partnership with Captain Samuel Hamilton Walker in 1846, this was the largest and most powerful black powder revolver ever made. The drawings cover every part in the gun, including the grip frame, barrel, hammer, cylinder, and small parts, etc. Two versions of this iconic pistol are covered by the drawings: the original 1847 version and the 1848 Whitneyville variation manufactured for Colt by famous inventor Eli Whitney. Only a small portion of the drawings are shown in the picture with this listing to give you a hint of what is included. The drawings are so detailed and fascinating that you could study these for hours. You might even consider framing them as a unique wall decoration. These are professionally reproduced on a large format engineering printer to be clear and readable throughout. The prints are shipped rolled in a protective cardboard tube to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
NOTE TO EBAY: This listing conforms to all eBay rules. This is not a gun. These are only copies of historic documents. There are no gun parts for sale here.
