Vintage Heatmaster Electric Space Heater Tombstone Style 1940’s?

There are two heating elements and an internal fan. Switch on the right turns on the lower element. Switch on the left turns on the top element and internal fan. And this baby can throw some heat! Judging by the original rubber insulated wires within a fabric covered cord, which crumpled when bent, I’d place the age to the 1940’s or possibly older. A replacement cord was installed. Cleaned inside and out. Dimensions: 20” tall including handle; 14” wide; 11” deep including front grill.
Although the heater works fine, this is being sold as a collectible. Why? Old heaters like this do not have any of the safety features that a modern heater does to prevent possible fires. Features such as a timer, tilt switch, temperature limit, etc. These features were not even thought of 80 years ago even though this unit was UL approved at its time. Ideal for use as a working prop for theatrical productions. This is a collectible - use at your own risk.
