Vintage General Electric Six Blade Oscillator Army Green Antique

Vintage General Electric fan. I am not an expert. I plugged it in and it does run but stops. I jiggle the wire and it starts up again. I think there is a lose wire? I am nervous to open it up and see whats wrong with it. I am not an expert. I think its an oscillating fan, I can't get it to move but again I am don't want to open it and start messing with wires. I will let an expert play with it. When it does run, I move to lever and it does go on low, medium and high. The bottom fabric is torn and will need to be fixed. This is the 6 blade version which is hard to find. PLEASE look at the pictures. What you see is what you get. I am selling this "AS IS" to be refurbished. Again I am not an expert so I will do my best to answer your question. I had it for years displayed in my garage.
