Vintage Mortero 1895 Spanish Black Powder Canon and Artillery Limber
Large Spanish 19th century mortar on the pattern of Lieutenant Colonel Mata" (also known as the Mortero Mata).  Made in Spain.
Total length of Cannon + Limber is 27"
Cannon: 15 in. long, 8.5 in wide, 7 in. high, weighs about 6 pounds.  This a non-firing, display only model, "white metal", but with a high level of detail (barrel elevates, breech can be opened).  Made in Spain
Limber: 13.5” long; 9" wide;  6.5” tall  weighs about 3 pounds.  Limber (caisson) were used to carry gunpowder for cannons.
These two pieces are perfect for table top, bookshelf or desk top display. These all have working wheels and many have several other working parts.
