Vintage Antique GE General Electric Vortalex 12" Fan 1940's 3 Speed Oscillating

Buyer will receive, as pictured, a vintage/antique General Electric Vortalex 12" Fan.  The fan has 3 speeds, and the oscillating function works very well.  I have listed it as 12"-that is the measurement of span of the blades.  The measurement of the cage is 14 inches diameter. It weighs 15 pounds, 11 ounces-you can feel the quality! The fan works wonderfully.  It is pretty quiet at the lowest speed but not nearly as loud as I expected at the highest speed.  The noise makes a nice "white noise" sound-no obnoxious rattle, just a steady hum.  It's a very impressive piece, in my opinion, heavy and sturdy-one of those things that makes you say, "They don't make them like they used to."  It has a newly installed cord and is ready for use.  Please see pictures.
