Vintage 1950s Mid Century Retro Oscillating Fan Working Model 16SD4 Westinghouse
Tested and working this is a wonderful 16SD4 Westinghouse vintage fan.
This fan was built around the 1950s.
It has a wonderful retro look with an art deco base as you can see in the photos.
I love the color of the base of the paint.
The grill has got a spaceship type look to it and a round ring that says Westinghouse.
The blades are either micarta or some type of plastic I’m not sure which.
They used to use micarta also back in the day because they thought it would keep the fan quieter.
This fan seems to have a high speed. Please see my photos for the fan in working condition on my counter!
Also please see the photos for condition as everybody judges condition differently.
I don’t see anything wrong as far as I know. There’s a tiny area coming out of the fan where I can see the red and black wires.
It only seems to have one speed on this but I don’t know how to work fans very well.
It does oscillate back-and-forth and the knob on the top moves around as it goes around.
