Stuart Sutcliffe was the original bass player for The Beatles. He was an artist and best friend of John Lennon. Sutcliffe left The Beatles in 1961 to pursue his career in music and be with his girlfriend, Astrid Kirchherr, in Hamburg, Germany. Stuart Sutcliffe died tragically from a brain hemorrhage at the age of 21 in 1962.
The Beatles didn’t really gain fame until 1962 so Stuart did not sign a lot of autographs. Autographs of Stuart Sutcliffe are virtually non-existent and rarely come up for sale on the market.
This is a must have for Beatles enthusiasts and will be a cornerstone of any collection.
