As an instructor, I typically dive with a traditional octo because it is safer for my fellow divers, but I also dive with an Air2 because it is immediately available and safer for me.  Many divers find it more convenient to dive with just an Air2 & reduce their
hose clutter
.  It is also a pleasant experience to have one less thing dangling from your body and catching on the local flora.
This ScubaPro Air2 Integrated Octo/Inflator is crazy convenient and adds to the safety index.  Breathing on the Air2 is easier than most standard octos.  As a BCD inflator, the Air2 is easy to use. The inflate and deflate buttons are placed on top of the housing for comfortable use and they're different sizes and colors so you can tell which is which by both look and feel.
