This Adapter enables your August Smart Lock Pro (3rd Gen) to lock and unlock the 6” self-adjusting sliding barrel bolt lock (included with this kit) for mounting on yard gates and similar types of doors

An August Smart Keypad installed outside the gate will give keyless access whenever you do not have your smartphone on you. Moreover, with personal, temporary codes you can give one-time access to e.g. gardening or pool services, and keep track of who entered and when.
The included weatherproof housing protects your August Smart Lock from sun, wind and rain.

left-closing
version (bolt slides to the left to lock) and

Note:
Installation of the Adapter requires an area of 9-1/2” x 5-1/2” on the door flush with the doorjamb which may require attaching a piece of wood of appropriate thickness to the door (see product pictures for an example).
