Home Connect
Your Home Connect device can sync to your central air conditioner, lighting fixtures, and even your television. When entering the door, the Kwikset system wirelessly links to your Z-Wave enabled devices, alerting the devices that you are home. This allows the devices to be programmed to power on and adjust your settings when then the code is entered. There is no need to disable the alarm when you enter the home with Home Connect. It’s able to automatically disable the alarm when the code is entered and automatically arm the security system when the door is locked.

Z-Wave allows for a controlled personal network in your home. Z-Wave offers a linked network which is cheaper and simpler than Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Z-Wave allows you to connect many of your devices together so they can work in harmony with each other. While some appliances and systems have Z-Wave built in to it, others may need a Z-Wave enabled adapter or specialized outlet. Skywalker offers many different adapters that work on the Z-Wave network. 10-Digit Keyless Entry
Perhaps one of the most beneficial features of the new Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt is the 10-digit backlit keypad. Each number (0 through 9) has its own button. This increases code combinations, and may discourage would be intruders due to the possible complexity of codes. Combined with the dedicated lock button, secured keyless entry convenience is only too simple to achieve!
