About Almond Leaves
Grade A Catappa Leaves sourced organically from Sri Lanka, completely cleaned and washed, decontaminated, sun dried, taken from Ceylon Almond Trees (Terminalia Catappa).
Also known as ketapang leaves, country almond, Malabar almond, sea almond, beach almond, and false kamani.
Leaves will generally range between 8-10 inches, as this is an organic product, there will be variation.
Perfect for Discus fish, Betta fish, and other tropical fish due to the trace minerals and nutrients found in the natural habitats of these fish.
A must have for aquariums containing shrimps and snails, being both a food-source and provider of trace minerals and nutrients.

Directions
Use 2-3 Catappa leaves per 5 Gallons of water.
Catappa leaves act as a food for shrimp, snails, and sometimes other aquarium animals as they decay. If you do not have any animals that will consume the leaves, it is recommended to remove them after a few days.
Decay speed depends on your water parameters, such as pH, temperature, hardness, etc. It can take a few days to take effect and will vary.
How pH is affected will depend on the initial pH parameter of the water.
