    Description

1949 Emerson 6250-G Brass 10” Blade Oscillating Fan/Art Deco Rare 1st Year Ivory.
Very nice in original unrestored condition in need of a good cleaning.
6250 "G" fans in Ivory prove to be a rare find... look for other examples on ebay if you can find one.
The fan would probably be very presentable with a body and cage cleaning and a little brasso on the blades.
The fan runs strong on its single speed.
Slight cage rattle that the end user can take care of by tightening the 4 cage acorn nuts.
I have not cleaned, altered, repaired or modified this fan as it is in the condition I acquired it in.
Please review pictures for condition and ask any questions you might have prior to bidding.
There is a less than dime size diameter dent on the back side of the motor just above the rear housing screw as seen in pictures.
It is pretty shallow and someone with a little know how could take the rear housing off and work the dent out with a piece of wood.
There is a fray in the power cord about the middle of its 8' length and it has electrical tape covering it.  I would suggest, in the name of safety, that the end user either shorten the cord to that spot or replace all together.
I take great pride in my packaging so that your prized acquisition gets to you in the condition advertised.
I would normally remove the blades and cage for shipping but I was met with a little resistance from the blade shaft screw and did not want to strip the screw slot.
I will remove the motor (with blade and cage) from the base for shipping because the base slots can be susceptible to breaking during shipping.
I will include a picture so you will know the orientation once you assemble (easy process).
Please do not cuss me because it might take you awhile to unbox, I double box and use lots of tape, peanuts, and bubble wrap in my efforts to protect during transit.
    Shipping via FedEx Home/Ground.
I will provide overage insurance up to the purchase price of the fan.
I have several other vintage and/or antique fans that I will be listing as I get time.
Thank you and good luck bidding.
