This book was printed in 1995 but the political cartoons reflect the time period of 1979-1980.  They are broken down by category and reflect the political climate of the time.  There are sections dedicated to Iran, Vietnam, Cuba and the oil crisis. "The few artists who drew political cartoons in the late 1970s like Koeh Sia Yong had to draw political cartoons of other countries instead. It is appropriate to say that Koeh’s fate of drawing cartoons of other countries coincide with the start of comic book era in Singapore."
