    Antique TEMCO Electric Oscillating Fan Loop Handle Tideman Electric Mfg. Co. 560
    Apparently these are quite rare, there’s none on eBay, a true antique as it’s approximately 100 years old or a bit older. It has the loop handle and is a model 560 and a low serial number of 27. Value is hard to determine as finding others for sale or sold has been a fruitless process. I’ve been able to find Menominee fans which appears to be essentially the same and are somewhat more common.
    The fan is without a doubt something of a mess, the wiring is completely shot and against my better judgment I plugged it in, the motor hums but it is seized and smoke started to come from it. The cover over the gearbox that drives the oscillation feature is totally damaged. Rust is omnipresent along with much paint loss.
    Since I’ve absolutely no idea what the value is I’ll price it high and see if there’s any interest, I’ll consider adding best offer after a month or so.
