Antique 1940s Emerson art deco 77646 Electric 12" fan, original excellent cond

This is an excellent find for the collector, an original condition mid 1940s Emerson 12" model 77646 oscillating fan. This fan blows like a hurricane and all 3 speeds work perfectly. It tilts forward and back using a wing nut lock screw on base. It has been disassembled, inspected, cleaned, and oiled, and some small repairs were made to some of the wiring where insulation was frayed and connections were fragile from age. I have left all the original cloth cord intact wherever possible, and where someone had installed an ugly  brown plastic AC cord I replaced it with reproduction cloth cord. Original hard rubber AC plug, to which I added some solder to improve its connection when plugged in. I also added some shrink tube strain relief for added wear resistance  to the cord. The oscillation is engaged by a rotary wheel underneath at the point of motor attachment to the base. Since I have left it in original condition there are some minor areas of paint wear and a few dings which are not visible unless closely inspected. When you find these fans here online or in antique stores you never know what may be lurking inside and a fan that looks nice and works perfectly can catastrophically fail because of hidden deterioration. Even the shipping process can exacerbate hidden defects. You have no worries with this fan because I have taken care of all that.
