19th C France Eglomise Gold Metal Glass Jewelry Box Les Invalides Napoleon

Description

I am offering for sale a 19th Century Eglomise hand painted footed gold metal and beveled glass jewelry box depicting Les Invalides, where French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb is located.  The interior is fitted with red silk covered pads to show off the jewelry.  It is in very good condition with age appropriate patina and wear.  The silk lining is worn from use.  It measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" high.
