Reproduction of the 1808 dragoon saber manufactured by Nathan Starr.
The Nathan Starr, 1808 Dragoon Saber was and outgrowth of earlier successful designs that came out of England and Prussia in the 1790s and was the principal mounted edged weapon for US cavalry and dragoons during the war of 1812.
Period correct for the Legion Period and the 1812 War.  Black steel scabbard.
Blade length is 33 inches.
